Miley Cyrus - "End Of The World"

Am 3. April hat Miley Cyrus ihren neuen Song "End of the World" veröffentlicht. Der Track ist eine gefühlvolle Ballade mit reduziertem Sound, in dem vor allem Mileys markante Stimme im Vordergrund steht. Begleitet von sanftem Klavier und poppigem Sound entfaltet der Song eine melancholische, fast schon intime Atmosphäre. Perfekt für ruhige Momente und tiefe Gedanken & insgesamt ein ultra nicer Song, der sich in Mileys Album "Something Beautful" extrem gut einbettet. 

"End of the World" ist ein emotionaler Song, der Dich direkt berührt. Die Ballade lebt von Mileys rauer und ehrlicher Stimme.

Der Track beginnt zuerst ruhig und gefühlvoll: "Today, you woke up and you told me that you wanted to cry / The sky was fallin' like a comet on the Fourth of July“  Es wird eine Stimmung eingefangen, die in sich widersprüchlich scheint. Die Lyrics handeln von Ängsten vor der Zukunft und dem Wunsch, inmitten von Unsicherheit Nähe und Halt zu finden. Besonders stark ist der Refrain: "Let's pretend it's not the end of the world“ Vielleicht ein fast schon kindlicher Versuch, das Unvermeidliche für einen Moment auszublenden.

"End of the World" ist der perfekte Soundtrack für einen späten Abend, wenn die Welt für einen Moment stillzustehen scheint.
